Carter was elected and served as Secretary of the District Attorney General\u2019s\u00a0Conference\u00a0in 2019\u20132020.\u00a0He then was elected and served as vice president of the Conference in 2020\u20132021.\u00a0Gen.\u00a0Carter\u00a0served as a\u00a0member of the Tennessee Supreme Court\u2019s Bench & Bar Committee, from 2012\u20132018.\u00a0Gen. Carter also served on the Child Support Committee, Finance and Audit Committee,\u00a0and Opioid\/Heroin Committee.\u00a0Gen.
