Stacey Edmonson

Serving Williamson County | Tennessee

General Edmonson worked in the court system in Williamson County Chancery Court Clerk’s Office before attending law school. While in law school, she was an intern in the 21st District Attorney’s Office which only reinforced her passion for criminal law. In 2001, she began her legal career in private practice in Williamson County but felt the pull towards prosecution. She joined the 21st District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney in 2004 and was named the Deputy District Attorney in 2012 by General Kim Helper. General Edmonson strives to treat everyone she encounters with respect and dignity while seeking justice. She is married to Randy Edmonson, both lifelong Tennesseans, and they have a son, Logan.

On September 5, 2025, Judge David H. Veile sentenced Roni Ethan Johnson to serve 32 years at 100% on Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault for stabbing his wife and a friend in August of 2023. A Williamson County Jury previously found Roni Ethan Johnson guilty of these charges after a three-day trial in July. Senior ADA Jennifer Dungan and Belmont Law Student Phoebe Arevalo prosecuted the case following an investigation by Det. Wes Crigger and the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. On September 3, 2025, in Williamson County Circuit Court, Ontario D. Lowery pled guilty to one count of Trafficking for a Commercial Sex (class B felony) and one count of Domestic Assault. He was sentenced to serve 10 years at 100% in the TN Department of Corrections.Detective Adrian Breedlove of the Brentwood Police Department investigated the case.
